Google launched its social network dubbed Google+ on June 28, 2011. Before its full launch to the general public, users get a chance to beta test the social networking platform which requires a Google+ Invite. The initial buzz has drawn over 25 million users in the first month since its launch, which is 20 times faster compared to any other social network (as per comScore).
Over the past decade, the internet has just completely boomed. This has been for many reasons including the ease of accessing major information quickly, the ability to shop from home, and above all the ability to stay closely connected with social groups. With that said, Google has become that backbone of all the reasons why people use the internet. Google settles conversations, “Hey just Google that $h!t!” Google provides discounts. Google Translates. And now, Google is getting Social!
